The Book

The images were not chosen by the writers themselves, but assigned by chance, encouraging unexpected connections, fresh perspectives, and creative leaps.

Art My Story is a part of Art My Word, a Macleay Island-based initiative that celebrates artistic expression and community through a vibrant series of events, exhibitions, and creative challenges. The Art My Story project supports both emerging and experienced writers to explore new ideas and voices - to take risks, be playiul, and create work that couldn't have existed without the catalyst of a single image.
