Art My Word is a series of events celebrating Art, Storytelling and Community, based on Quandamooka Country, Jencoomercha / Macleay Island, Queensland, Australia.

 

Art My Word is pushing artists and writers to make new works by the challenge of giving each artists a random used book no longer in circulation at the local community library or by giving storytellers a random photo from anywhere around the world to base their new piece of writing on.

 

Creatives have free choice of medium, writing style
and free interpretation in how they tackle the task.
