Art My Story
Art My Story launched in 2022 and invites writers and storytellers to register for the written challenge.
Writers are given a kit containing a random photo (see Art My Photo info) and basic information to base their new written piece on. They may be inspired by the photo itself, its title, the place the photo was taken or the time of the photo.
Any writing style can be applied, text is limited to 1000 words. The written pieces from 2023 have been made into a book publication thanks to a grant from the Regional Arts Development Fund and Redland City Council. In 2025 the Art My Story will feature new stories and photos.

The Book
"This book is a collection of stories, poems and song lyrics inspired by a randomly picked photo by each writer.
Art My Story encourages and supports storytellers to write new works and to produce pieces that could not come to life without these chance photographs. Enjoy the randomness in this publication."
